The Senior Expo at the South Orlando YMCA is a welcoming community event designed to connect older adults, caregivers, families, and community members with valuable health, wellness, educational, and support resources. In partnership with Global Alzheimer's and Charter Research, the event will provide attendees with an opportunity to learn about local services, explore wellness resources, connect with community organizations, and discover programs that can support healthy aging and overall well-being. Volunteers will play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming, and organized experience for all attendees. Responsibilities may include assisting with event setup and breakdown, welcoming and checking in guests, providing directions and information, helping attendees navigate the event space, supporting community partners and vendors, and assisting with general event needs throughout the day. This is a great opportunity for volunteers to engage with the community, support older adults and their families, and help create a positive and informative event that promotes connection, wellness, and access to important community resources. This event will take place on October 14th, 2026 at the South Orlando YMCA from 9:00AM to 1:00PM.
