COACHES NEEDED As you know, coaches at the YMCA are volunteers from our community who dedicate their time and efforts to make a meaningful impact in our children's lives. A volunteer could be you as a parent/guardian or a community member you know of. Sometimes they are parents or family members, and sometimes members of the community that want to be part of the Y movement. Currently, we are in dire need of coaches and your help is much appreciated. All volunteer applicants must be Level 2 Background screened, including fingerprinting, and complete the required training to ensure the safety of our participants, so do not hesitate to volunteer as soon as possible. The YMCA Christian Values Conference (CVC) brings together teens from across the country to the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly. The setting, with its beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, reminds us of God’s handiwork. The CVC is inspired by John 17:21, “that they all may be one.” CVC staff are dedicated to the spiritual, mental, and physical growth of teens. They’ll work to create a diverse, positive Christian atmosphere, provide active steps in spiritual growth, teach positive life skills, and carry out unique activities that encourage continued participation. July 13-18, 2025 YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, North Carolina When you volunteer at the YMCA, you’re at the heart of spreading our mission to connect individuals and families with opportunities that strengthen spirit, mind, and body. The YMCA is committed to providing a safe environment for all who participate in our facilities and programs. YMCA Christian Values Conference volunteer applicants must complete a level 2 fingerprint-based background screening and the required training to ensure the safety of our participants. An Out of State Abuse and Neglect Records Check is required for volunteer applicants who have resided outside of Florida during the past five (5) years.
